This blend of Prugnolo Gentile and Canaiolo is aged in oak barrels for at least 2 years. It is intense garnet in colour, with a rich warm nose of raisins, damsons, boysenberries and plums. Dry and full-bodied with layers and layers of flavours of liquorice, chocolate, black cherries, plums and some herbaceous tones. Ripe tannins add structure and complexity to this wine.
