The Primitivo grapes are hand picked from two Puglian areas, Avetrana and Sava, which have different and distinct characteristics. Each is vinified separately and oak aged before before blending. This superb wine is a lovely combination of berry fruits and spice. The palate is rich and succulent, with a concentration of morello cherries, balanced by smooth well-rounded tannins.
