Verdeca is an indigenous varietal from this area, and both varietals achieve great ripeness in the Puglian climate. The Chardonnay is barrel fermented and then blended with the Verdeca. The result is a wonderful full bodied wine with great tropical fruit flavours and vanilla tones.
